From our clinicians and interns to our administrators, board members, and executive team, every team member believes that our work changes lives. Our facilitators lead training and workshops alongside our Champions Network® staff. They are an experienced, diverse group of individuals with hands-on knowledge and expertise in the field of mental health.

NATASHA GOSS

FACILITATOR & CONSULTANT

Natasha is a Facilitator for the Champions Network®. In this role, she is responsible for conducting training on various topics and supporting the Network.

Natasha earned her B.A. in English from UMass Boston and is scheduled to receive her M.A. in Critical and Creative Thinking in the spring of 2021. Though Natasha does not consider herself an athlete, she loves the sport of football and is deeply committed to fitness and nutrition, wellness, and healthy lifestyle habits.

She is also committed and passionate about helping youth find and maintain their voice in today’s noisy world. She is thrilled to be working for an organization such as Doc Wayne that provides youth creative and therapeutic outlets to use their voice and be heard.

Marsha F. M.

MARSHA FOWLES MCNAIR

FACILITATOR & CONSULTANT

As a Champions Network® Facilitator, Marsha supports the external training arm of Doc Wayne. She earned her B.A. in Sociology and Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Marsha prides herself in a lifelong commitment to youth empowerment and has used both her professional and volunteer platforms to further this mission. Marsha finds pride in working within an organization that utilizes sports as a catalyst to encourage positive mental health and support for disenfranchised groups. Marsha began running track in elementary school and was a 3-letter varsity athlete in Track, Basketball, and Volleyball.

Thuan N

THUAN NGUYEN

FACILITATOR & DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

As a Champions Network® Facilitator, Thuan is responsible for providing external partners with the skills needed to provide improved mental health services to youth in their own communities. He earned a B.A. in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University and a masters in International Governance and Public Affairs from Luiss University in Rome, Italy and CIFE in Nice, France. Thuan’s career has been centered around education and community development and is committed to improving resources for youth and families to lead happy, healthy lives. Thuan loves all types of sports and incorporates sports everywhere he goes.

JOSHUA SALTER

FACILITATOR & CONSULTANT

A long-time friend and former employee of Doc Wayne, Josh rejoins the team as a facilitator for The Champion’s Network®.

Josh graduated from Boston University with his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Sport Psychology after graduating from Florida State University with a Psychology degree. Josh is as competitive as they come as he grew up playing basketball and football in the hot, Floridian sun. He focused on football in high school where he played both cornerback and safety. He continues to play both competitively and recreationally and has since added tennis.

As a Master’s level clinician, Josh worked for several nonprofits supporting youth through counseling, mentorship, and therapeutic intervention. He brings experience advocating for youth and developing curriculums that promote their social-emotional learning. In addition to his role at Doc Wayne, Josh serves as Founding Program Director at the He Is Me Institute where he focuses on developing and retaining men of color in the education field. In his free time, Josh enjoys reading, writing, cooking, playing guitar, and, of course, playing sports.

AMANDA SIEFERMAN, LMHC

FACILITATOR & CONSULTANT

Prior to being a Champions Network® Consultant, Amanda worked at Doc Wayne for 5 years running groups from an Intern working up to a Program Manager. Outside of Consulting for Doc Wayne, Amanda also works at a Group Practice in Cambridge. Amanda’s pronouns are She/They and most of their work centers around providing safe, affirming, and inclusive spaces for Queer and Trans people so clients can feel comfortable being their authentic selves. Amanda has been playing soccer since they were 5 years old and played Division I at Wagner College and misses playing sports with her Doc Wayne kids daily.

IVY WATTS, MPH

FACILITATOR & CONSULTANT

Ivy Watts, Facilitator for The Champions Network®, has her Psychology degree from University of New Haven and her Masters in Public Health from Boston University and is certified in Mental Health First Aid. Ivy was a former All-American student-athlete who appeared to have it all together, graduating Summa Cum Laude and a top 30 finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award, on the inside struggled daily with anxiety, self-worth and depression. Ivy is passionate about breaking mental health stigma through public speaking and blogging about mental health.
