Studying at Boston College, Max is mid-way through a master’s degree in clinical social work. With a broad range of athletic experience, he has learned firsthand the value that sports play in childhood development. Max has been involved in baseball, soccer, basketball, cross-country, track and field, motocross, and most recently Italian longsword fencing.
As a clinical intern, Max hopes to instill values of cooperation, perseverance, self-respect, and inclusion with the students he works with. In his role as a clinical intern he will be assisting with caseloads for individual counseling, Therapeutic Recess programming, and Chalk-Talk. Working as a clinical case manager in his professional life, Max intends to continue his focus on at-risk adolescents and emerging adults, hoping to dedicate his career to this population after graduation.
