As a Clinical Intern, Jim works to ensure students can experience the joy of sport with a therapeutic lens – focusing on the mentor/mentee relationship. Jim was born and raised in Connecticut. Though he can play many sports, Jim spends his free time playing ice hockey and practicing martial arts. He looks forward to the day when Connecticut will have a professional ice hockey team. Jim attended Fairfield University where he majored in Theology, and he is currently in his third year of studies at Boston College – pursuing Master’s degrees in both Clinical Social Work and Theological Studies. Jim has some clinical experience, but believes this role will help him continue to develop the skills necessary to provide effective and tailored care as a future social worker.
