As a Clinical Game Changer, Dhruv helps facilitate group therapy sessions and support individual clients. He is originally from India – where he completed schooling and undergraduate studies in psychology. Dhruv has been an avid cricket player (a popular sport in India) since he was seven years old and has been fortunate to play in different parts of the world. He is also a passionate soccer fan.
Dhruv moved to Boston in 2019 to complete a graduate degree in counseling (with a concentration in sport psychology) from Boston University. As part of his training, he interned with Doc Wayne and has stayed on to work full-time. He enjoys using games and visual tools for therapy. He attempts to make the therapeutic space fun, supportive and optimally challenging. In the long term, Dhruv wants to create models for contextualized mental health services.
